In 2013, as part of the BABYLON’13 project, we recorded the birth of civil society in Ukraine, always being in the vortex of history and reflecting as much as possible on the events and people around us. Our creative portfolio includes short documentaries about the Maidan and the war in eastern Ukraine, the full-length documentary “Crimea, as it was” and social projects.

The DocNoteFilms studio is a full-cycle production company. We offer equally high-quality services from creating the concept of an audio-visual work and writing a script, to filming and editing

The DocNoteFilms studio specializes in the creation of short and full-length films and TV series. These can be both documentary and game works, without genre restrictions.

Hard Batch / Krutyi Zamis is a Ukrainian TV series about combat veterans. Through true stories with a pinch of soldier’s humor told by the heroes from all over Ukraine, the audience will be able to dive into their memories of the war and civilian life. These stories – about small business success, the challenges of the post-front life of veterans-businessmen, and hilarious war stories, are motivational to some and a true revelation for others.

During the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in the spring of 2022, Russian troops occupied the suburbs of the capital for more than a month. This film is dedicated to the educators of the Kyiv region, who did not despair even under shelling, enemy control, and the constant threat to their lives. The viewer will travel through the educational institutions of Hostomel, Irpin, Bucha and Vorzel, to become acquainted with those, who hold, and will be holding in their hands the future of our country.

The upcoming film will tell the story from the founding and development of the Ukrainian Navy during the 1917-1921 Ukrainian War of Independence, the restoration of the Ukrainian Navy, the “cold war” with the Soviet Union’s Black Sea Fleet in 1992-1996, to the annexation of Crimea and the modernization and reform of the Ukrainian Navy in the new reality of hybrid warfare.

Poliske was contaminated with radioactive material after the 1986 Chornobyl disaster. Soviet authorities did everything they could to erase the ancient history of this town, and after Chernobyl, they destroyed its future.

This film tells the story of a Muslim whose home was taken away. As of today, Ukrainian viewers have a unique opportunity to follow the protagonist’s difficult path from the battles for the Pisky (suburbs of Donetsk) in autumn 2014, through a raid on Donetsk Airport in winter 2015 – and to the border with the occupied Crimea in 2016.

Duma about Infantryman. 1908-2018
In 1908, Filaret Kolessa’s expedition to the Central Dnieper Ukraine was carried out, the organizers of which were the spouses Lesia Ukrainka and Clement Kvitka. The purpose of the expedition was to preserve the traditional kobzar and lyrnic repertoire. The recording of the kobzars singing was done using the Edison’s phonograph on wax rotating cylinders.
